Abstract:
There is an urgent need to recognize changed priorities and evolve new approaches to non-proliferation and disarmament objectives for a sharper focus on the real and present dangers to international peace and stability. The focus must now shift to more effective monitoring and verification of compliance at various levels. The proposed ROOT system (Responsible Ownership of Technology) might be one of such means to meet above mentioned challenges that could eliminate present-day dangers and contribute to international peace and stability. Poláchová Marie
Ing. Marie Poláchová, Ph.D., born in 1976, she graduated from Masaryk University Brno, Faculty of Economics and Administration (ESF MU), subject field: national economy. She completed her doctoral studies in 2012, subject field: economic theories. Since the year 2007 she has been working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Economy, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), University of Defence. Here she teaches in English the following subjects: public economy and economy of public sector. Authoress of many articles published at home and abroad. She deals with and publicizes in the field of history of economic theories, public economy and finance. She concerns with problems of the suitability of open innovation models, their application in pubic sector, including defence department.
