Implementation of the Class Management System in the Combined Form of Study in Career Courses

Abstract:

The article provides necessary information about the link between lifelong learning and the education and training of personnel within the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic sector. It offers the information about the relationship between the class management system and distance and electronic education. It deals with the implementation of the class management system in career courses of professional soldiers under the auspices of the Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies of the University of Defence. It clarifies the course of study in career courses, identifies the problems and generates their possible solutions.

Petr MAREK, born in 1966. He is a graduate from the Military University of the Ground Forces in Vyškov (1993). After the completion of his studies at military schools, he held the position of platoon leader, company commander, chief senior officer, chief of the department and regimental deputy commander (1987-2013). He served as an assistant, an assistant professor and a chief of group – a Deputy Head of the Department at military schools. Currently, he works as an academic at the Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies at the University of Defence in Brno. He deals with eLearning, andragogy, operational employment of troops, general tactics, command and control. He is a co-author of 2 monographs, an author and co-author of 15 university textbooks and a series of articles published at home and abroad.
