Doc. RNDr. Ladislav Halberštát, CSc., born in 1943. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Science, of the Palacky University in Olomouc, and Faculty of Education at the Charles University in Prague. He completed the International Defence Management Course, the Course of Education for National Security and NATO staff officers orientation course. He worked as a high school and university teacher, researcher (Centre for Higher Education Studies, Institute for Strategic Studies), developer (LOM Praha and VR Group), in the Ministry of Defence since 1992 as a researcher and as an employee of the Department of Military Education. Currently he is the head of the Department of Human Resource Management of the University of Defence. He deal with expert, designing and publishing activities in the field of education, defence and security policy.
