PhDr. Eva Složilová, MA, born in 1962. She graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava, Department of Translation and Interpreting in a combination of English and Arabic languages. Since 1987 she has been as civilian teacher in the Military Academy in Brno (now University of Defense), where she worked as an interpreter and translator. Later she taught Arabic and English languages. In 2002-2003 she was a head of the national Test Team responsible for the testing of English according to STANAG 6001. Currently she is an assistant professor in the Department of Languages, Faculty of Military Technology of the University of Defense. In 2004 she completed postgraduate studies at Lancaster University (UK) in the field of language testing (MA in Language Testing).
