Landovský Jakub

Jakub Landovský, PhD., born in 1976. A graduate of the master's Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University in Prague (2003), and the Law Faculty, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (2007). He completed doctoral studies at the Institute of the Political Studies, Charles University in Prague (2011), where he still externally acts as an assistant professor. In 2005-2006 he worked as a researcher at U.S. Oregon State University, later as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program, the Adviser of President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Czech Parliament and an advocate. He was an advisor to the Deputy Minister of Defence and in 2015, he became Deputy Minister of Defence for the Management of the Division for Defence Policy and Strategy of the Ministry of Defense. He deals, inter alia, on the research of modern conflict for natural resources, with a focus on conflicting and cooperative potential of water resources.
