Col. GS. Ondřej Havel, born in 1971. In 1994 he graduated from the Military College of Ground Forces as a bachelor of military chemistry. Between 1994 and 1998, he was assigned to the Chemical Protection Company of the 2nd Mechanized Brigade, later to the troops deployed in the Liberec. In 2006, he successfully completed a Masters Degree program at the University of Defense. At the same university he completed the General Staff Course in 2016. At present, he acts as a deputy commander of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Regiment. He deals with the development of the capabilities of the troops and their use in operations.
