Vilém Kolín, PhD, MGS, born 1974. He earned his Ph.D. in International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University in Prague. He also studied at the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at Denver University in the United States. In 2005-2006, he worked at the Institute of Strategic Studies of the University of Defence in Brno, in 2006-2010 at the Armaments Division of the Czech Ministry of Defence. Since 2010 he has been working at the European Defence Agency (EDA) in Brussels. He focuses on the Common European Defence and Security Policy, defence industry and market issues, defence research, and the implementation of international projects and programmes.
