Col. assoc. prof. František Racek, Ph.D., born in 1971. He is a graduate of the Military Academy in Brno, majoring in electro-optics and armaments. He worked in pedagogical positions at the University of Defense and their predecessors in the field of optical devices of weapons. His current position is the head of the Group of Optical Devices of the Department of Weapons and Ammunition. Within the area of interest in optical instruments of weapons, he specializes in the area of synergy of camouflage and hyperspectral imaging. He is the author of several expert articles in domestic and foreign publications, especially in the field of optics and optical instruments.
