Professor Gheorghe Minculete, PhD, born 1962.  He is a retired logistic officer of the Romanian Army, with PhD title in “Military Science”, obtained in 1999. Before retirement, the officer occupied several didactic functions in military education institutions, such as: Centre for Chemical Troops Instruction, in Câmpulung-Muscel, “Ioan Vodă” Artillery Military School, in Sibiu, “General Constantin Zaharia” Logistics Applications School, in Chitila and “Carol I” National Defence University, in Bucharest. Professor Minculete has been a doctoral supervisor since 2008, advising students who targeted a detailed specialization in military science, especially in military logistics. At the moment, he teaches in “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy, Sibiu. His wide educational and scientific research background is certified by an active participation in research projects, scientific conferences and working groups. As a result, professor Minculete has published 21 books, 14 course supports, 98 scientific articles and 199 contributions in conferences proceedings, with important value for military students and researchers.
