Ltc. Jaroslav Průcha, born in 1960. He is a graduate of the Technical University in Brno (1985), ISOOC-the Netherlands Defense Academy (1997), the NATO Defense College in Rome (2002). Participant of the SFOR (2000), EUFOR Chad/RCA from 2007 to the present. He worked at the corps headquarters and later at the Land Forces Headquarters in Olomouc, as Chief of the Department of foreign relations. In the period 2003-2006, he served in the NATO Defense College as a faculty advisor, head of the national representation. Now he acts at the University of Defence in Brno, Institute Operational and Tactical Studies. In 2007 launched an external doctorate. He deals with the operational use of the troops, especially the EU Battle Groups.
