Maj. Ing. Jan Ivan, PhD, born 1988, graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Defence Brno (major in military management). From 2012 to 2016 he served in command positions in reconnaissance artillery units within the artillery regiment in Jince. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Fire Support at the University of Defence. He is interested in the problems of combat use of artillery, especially in the area of requiring and coordinating fire support.
